Job Seekers
Excelcium works as a contingency and retainer-based search firm. It is our clients (hotels and other hospitality-related businesses) who hire and pay us a fee to search and recruit. We DO NOT “market” candidates for a fee. We DO NOT charge a fee for our services to you.

As a Candidate:

  • We require that you provide us with an up to date resume/CV that is professional and accurate. This resume/CV has your full contact information, outlines your accomplishments, includes correct dates for each position held, the exact name and location of each employer you worked for, and your educational schools and degrees.
  • Additional information such as your certificates, press clippings, food pictures (for culinary candidates), and photos of yourself can help set up professional presentation files.
  • It is important also to provide reference names and their contact information. Usually, we require at least three names. Please make sure that they are informed about being your reference and that we may contact them.

This is important for you to know:

  • We present those candidates only who meet The Client’s profile requirement. Therefore, you may need to wait and be patient. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE INFORMED ABOUT WHERE WE ARE SENDING YOUR RESUME.
  • We may verify the information on your resume/CV and speak with your past employers and references. Always be correct and truthful about the information you provide and the reason for leaving any position.
  • If you work with other recruiters and/or send out your resume/CV directly to potential employers, LET US KNOW. It is to your advantage that we do not duplicate.
  • Transparency and Communication are the pillars of a successful collaboration. We keep you informed about the process and NEED YOU to keep us informed about any contacts with the client. Call or email us after each contact.
  • Our service to you is FREE OF CHARGE and all we expect is your professional behavior and ethical relationship that can assist us to better serve your career goals.
