
Executive Chef
An iconic 5-star hotel in Switzerland, the Lake Geneva region is seeking a talented and innovative Executive Chef to oversee the culinary program and bring about creative and innovative concepts that will elevate the guests’ dining experiences to new heights.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the culinary operations of multiple restaurants, banquets, and in-room dining, ensuring exceptional quality and service.
• Develop and execute innovative menu concepts that reflect the hotel’s unique style and showcase the finest local and seasonal ingredients.
• Lead and inspire a team of talented chefs and culinary professionals, providing mentorship, guidance, and fostering a culture of excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage Director and other department heads to develop strategies for enhancing guest satisfaction and driving revenue growth.
• Maintain strong relationships with local suppliers and purveyors to ensure the availability of the highest quality ingredients.
• Implement cost control measures and optimize operational efficiency to achieve financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain impeccable cleanliness standards.
Requirements:
• Previous experience as an Executive Chef in a luxury hotel or resort, with a demonstrated track record of culinary excellence and innovation.
• International experience in culinary operations is essential.
• Ability to communicate in both French and English, with excellent communication skills.
• A passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse culinary team.
• Proven ability to develop and execute creative menu concepts that appeal to a wide range of tastes.
• Financial acumen and the ability to manage food and labor costs effectively.
• Adaptable, flexible, and culturally aware, with a deep understanding of different culinary traditions and the ability to incorporate them into the hotel’s offerings.
An excellent remuneration package, commensurate with experience, and the opportunity to work in one of Switzerland’s most prestigious and renowned hotel establishments. EU or Swiss residency or work papers are required.
