Director of Finance

We are currently seeking an experienced Director of Finance to join a prestigious luxury hotel in the stunning Lake Geneva region of Switzerland. This is a senior-level position that requires exceptional financial expertise, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities:
– Oversee all financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis
– Develop and implement effective financial strategies and initiatives to optimize profitability and control costs
– Manage financial planning, cash flow, and capital expenditure
– Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards
– Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and senior management
– Prepare and present financial reports to the executive team and stakeholders
– Collaborate with the corporate finance team to align financial objectives and strategies
– Implement internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk
– Conduct regular audits to maintain the integrity of financial systems and processes

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the corporate hotel environment in Europe
– Strong understanding of international accounting standards and financial regulations
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Fluency in both French and English is essential
– Proven leadership abilities and experience managing a finance team
– EU and/or Swiss residency is required
